Camp Amenities

By pooling our resources (aka dues), we’re able to build a camp that’s comfortable, well-equipped, and ready to handle playa together... with these amenities.

⚡️ Power

Each camper is required to bring a 50-ft extension cord of 14 wire gauge or greater to extend power into their own tent. A plug strip is recommended for connecting multiple devices.

💧 Drinking Water

We will have unlimited drinking water our campers can obtain.

🚿 Showers

SnoHo will have our own private showers built by our amazing build leads.

🚽 Private Portos

We will have our own private porto for just our camp. It will be serviced daily and kept very clean.

📶 Wi-Fi

We will have Starlink to provide Wi-Fi for our camp. It will be password protected.

🌴 Shade Structure

Campers who elect to tent will be given a 10' x 10' allocation under our camp Shade Structure. Due to limited space, personal tents will need to fit within this allocation.

🍽️ Meal Plan for Purchase

We are partnering with our neighboring HUB camp Swing City to provide a meal plan option. It will include at least 1 shift in the Swing City camp’s kitchen.

🚲 Bike Rental & Delivery

We will set up transporting bikes directly to our camp if purchased from our vendor.

Build & Breakdown

Build Week (Mon 8/18 - Fri 8/22)

  • Everyone is expected to help build (aka setting up our home) once you arrive on playa if we're not done with build, even if you arrive after Fri 8/22.
  • If you’re able to join us for Build Week (Mon 8/18 - Fri 8/22), we highly encourage it—constructing Black Rock City together is magical, connective, and incredibly fulfilling.
  • Joining us for Build Week also comes with perks.
    • We will provide 3 meals a day for everyone who joins us from Mon 8/18 - Fri 8/22.
    • Monday build crew (arrive by Mon 8/18)
      • Discounted camp dues - $500
      • 2x as much time for showers
      • Pre-playa stay accommodations will be provided
    • Wednesday build crew (arrive by Wed 8/20)
      • Discounted camp dues - $600
      • 1.5x as much time for showers

Breakdown / Strike

  • Everyone is expected to help breakdown / strike regardless of your departure date.
  • There will be a $200 strike deposit that will be forfeited if you don’t stay for any breakdown.
  • Breakdown starts Saturday mid day, and goes until Monday when 100% of the camp is in breakdown mode.
  • All campers are expect to help with breakdown. If you can't stay for breakdown, we can discuss other ways you can contribute.
  • We will schedule breakdown shifts based on when you leave, to make sure the work load is shared fairly.
    • Camper sign up for breakdown shifts at the same time as volunteer shifts. Using this info and departure times info, camper leaving before Monday afternoon will be placed into teams by the Breakdown leads.
    • Be prepared to be mostly sober/functional Monday morning at 8:30am. We will be waking everyone up to start breaking down our camp/tent/shade structure/everything to be done by 4pm.
    • There will be a Final Line MOOP Sweep that includes the entire camp walking down.
