About Us

Who We Are

SnoHo is a radically welcoming, heart-centered home where safety, joy, and representation are core values.

Our camp centers diversity across race, gender, sexuality, and lived experience. Most of our 2025 crew identify as BIPOC, queer, and/or members of historically excluded communities.

We believe that belonging is built, not assumed, and we co-create a space where everyone can show up fully and feel seen.

Ethos

SnoHo is built on shared effort, mutual respect, and emotional presence. We’re not just a group of people camping together, we’re creating a temporary home rooted in trust and community care.

We expect all campers to show up with a willingness to contribute, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for both your impact and your experience. That includes respecting camp boundaries, pulling your weight, and being mindful of how you show up in shared spaces.

SnoHo is not the place to coast, ghost, or be passively along for the ride. You’re here because we believe you have something beautiful to bring, and we ask that you engage with heart, humor, and integrity.

Values

1.  Intentional Co-Creation

We come together to build a space rooted in growth, connection, and joy. Our foundation is emotional sovereignty, creative expression, and mutual care.

2.  Emotional Integrity

We practice direct communication, personal responsibility, and self-awareness. When rupture happens, we repair with thoughtfulness and courage.

3.  Embodied Accountability

Trust and presence are not abstract ideals—they’re lived through daily choices. We show up fully, listen deeply, contribute actively, and take ownership of our impact.

4.  No Bystanders

SnoHo is not a place for passive participation. We are a collective of doers, dreamers, and stewards of shared responsibility.

5.  Beauty as a Container

We treat our environment as a canvas. Through aesthetic intention and sensory clarity, we create a space that invites rest, expression, and deep connection.

6.  Welcoming Refuge

Our camp is a sanctuary—calm, grounded, and inclusive. We hold space for people to be fully themselves, in all their nuance, joy, and unfolding.

10 Principles

SnoHo stands by the official 10 Principles of Burning Man, and the unofficial 11th Principle of Consent.

These principles were not crafted to dictate how people should be and act, but as a reflection of the community’s ethos and culture as it had organically developed.

We encourage all our campers to embody and uphold these principles. They help remind us to live in the present, and stay connected with ourselves, the people around us, and world around us.
